Shared carts

What it is

Shared carts let several people at a customer work on the same cart together, for teams that assemble an order between them before it is placed: one adds the parts, another the consumables, a third checks and submits.

Why it matters

• Orders that used to be assembled in a spreadsheet and keyed in by one person are built in the cart by the people who know each line.
• Everyone sees the same cart, the same prices and the same stock, so the order that is placed is the one the team agreed.
• Works with approvals: the finished cart goes to the approver like any other order.
