Tax ID validation checks the tax identifier a customer or company gives you, such as an EU VAT number, against the issuing authority before you invoice against it. A number that does not validate is flagged at the point it is entered.
| Included | What that means |
|---|---|
| EU VAT numbers | Validated against the VIES service |
| Checked on entry | At registration or when a company updates its details |
| Status on the account | Valid, invalid or pending, visible to your team |
