The Typesense search engine runs catalog search on Typesense, a dedicated search engine. It adds faceted filtering, ranking, typo tolerance and synonyms for catalogues too large to browse, behind the same search API as the Database search engine on Starter.
| Included | What that means |
|---|---|
| Faceted filtering | Narrow results by the attributes buyers care about |
| Ranking and typo tolerance | Relevant results even when a part number is mistyped |
| Merchandising controls | Boost, pin and synonym management from the dashboard |
| Per-customer results | Catalogue, channel, language and availability |
