MCP Tools

Gift Cards adds gift card tools to the Vendure MCP server. Customers use the Shop tools to pick a design and buy a gift card. Administrators use the Admin tools to issue gift cards, see which ones are due, and send the card emails.

Requirements

• McpPlugin from @vendure/mcp-plugin in your Vendure config. The plugin registers its tools on startup, and the MCP server finds them.
• A license with the store-credit.gift-cards capability. The server does not start when the plugin is configured without it.
• A product variant in the gift card configuration. Without it, gift_card_add_to_cart fails.
