Update the @vendure/* packages together with @vendure-platform/*. The Platform CLI
requires @vendure/cli 3.8.0 or later. Keep
Core, Dashboard, CLI, testing and asset server on the same Core build. @vendure/mcp-sdk
follows the Platform packages instead. See Move the MCP SDK with Platform. A peer
dependency warning does not prove that the installed CLI supports the Platform commands.
Before it loads its commands, the Platform CLI compares the installed @vendure/cli version
with this minimum. If the version is older, the vendure command stops and shows the
update command.
vendure devAfter vendure dev starts its processes, the CLI checks for a newer version of
the installed edition package. A stable version uses the registry's latest
dist-tag. A major prerelease uses the major tag. Other prereleases do not
produce a notice.
