The PunchOut plugin is a native cXML v1 implementation for enterprise B2B procurement integration. It lets external
procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle Procurement, etc.) launch a buyer into your Vendure storefront,
build a cart, return that cart to the procurement system as cXML, and finally receive the resulting purchase order
back into Vendure as a fully-formed Order.
Unlike the community punchout-gateway-plugin — which delegates protocol work to a third-party SaaS — this plugin
speaks cXML directly. Trading-partner credentials, session state, and the full document audit trail live inside your
Vendure database.
